CLH Forestry Program

CLH Forestry ProgramAt Coventry Log Homes we know how important our forests are to the health of our planet. Did you know that over the course of 50 years, a single tree can generate $31,000 worth of oxygen, provide $62,000 worth of air pollution control, recycle $37,500 worth of water and control $31,500 worth of soil erosion? A single tree can do all this and more! Our forests are a natural resource that must be managed so that future generations can enjoy the benefits as well.

We know that building a log home is inherently “green” and is the most natural home building solution on the market, and we also know the importance of supporting the efforts of the many types of organizations and people that play an important role in encouraging the healthy growth of our forests. Educators teach others to appreciate and look after our forests. Organizations have been responsible for mass tree plantings in places that have been devastated by wild fires in order to regenerate a lost forest. Loggers take vibrant regrowth into consideration when deciding which best conservation methods to employ when harvesting the trees. At Coventry we applaud these efforts by making yearly donations to groups or individuals who are committed to keeping our forests beautiful and a natural resource.

Below is a small number of organizations or individuals we are proud to stand behind with our support. We encourage you to visit their websites and support them also.
