The annual fall hunting trip for the executives of Coventry Log Homes, Inc. and its sister company Log Stackers located in Woodsville, NH was a successful mixture of business and pleasure. Pre-travel plans included refamiliarizing themselves with the company’s video equipment in order to digitally record a successful hunt that would air on North American Safari, the award winning hunting show based in Fairfield, Maine.
The sales team at Coventry Log Homes was recently awarded plaques showcasing their 2010 sales achievements. Mark Elliott, vice president of CLH said, "Every year we try to recognize the outstanding job performance of our team at Coventry. We acknowledge that our success as a company is due to the hard work of every employee."
Even though there has been a downturn in the housing market in the last few years Coventry Log Homes has seen record numbers of new log home buyers and is off to a great start for 2011. Coventry homes have been delivered to such places as Alaska, Hawaii, Ireland, and even to the Island of New Caledonia off the coast of Australia which highlights the global reach of a small town company's expansion efforts in the log home industry.

The Bethehem, NH Recreational Department received a donation of a complete kit and plans from Coventry Log Homes, Inc. of Woodsville, NH to build two dugouts for the Little League field at the end of Elm Street. The field is also accessed through a wooded path beyond the Elementary School’s playground making the location convenient to the school and for summer day camp activities.

As the sales representative for the purchase of eight Coventry Log Home cabin packages destined for The Fresh Air Fund's Camp Anita Bliss Coler, Deb Simano and her husband, Brian, also an employee of Coventry Log Homes were invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for Precious Center For Teen Leadership in Fishkill, NY. Sarah Siegel-Magness of Smokewood Entertainment Group was inspired to contribute $1.325 million after producing the movie Precious in order to establish a center dedicated for teenage girl leadership programs, and Gabourey Sidibe, who played the lead character for which the center is named, were guests of honor.
Ted Lilly, starting pitcher for the Chicago Cubs and owner of a Coventry Log Home, threw 8 innings of no-hit baseball. Lilly gave up his first and only hit of the night to Juan Pierre to lead off the 9th inning. Lilly finished this great performance with 8 innings pitched, 1 hit, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Congratulations Ted Lilly on a job well done!

A recent made for television hunting episode of Woods n’ Water was filmed in Hulett, Wyoming with Jeff Elliott, owner of Coventry Log Homes. The episode will feature an interview about Coventry Log Homes and preview Jeff's actual hunt and shooting of a 10-point, 225 pound White Tail Deer. The show is scheduled to air on November 28 at 9:00 pm on the Pursuit Channel (that’s Direct TV channel 608). Now airing on the Sportsman Channel (DirecTV 605).
