Hello, Juanita!

1.  Integrity: CLH stood by their word, holding onto the house beyond the sale time (until the snow was gone and we could take delivery).  CLH also stood by their word in not passing the subsequent shipping charge increase on to us.   So we were impressed before we ever got the house.
 
2.  We thought we would have trouble getting a Canadian engineer to approve the plans, but when he requested a minor change (for snow load) CLH did not take advantage by overcharging for the change and were prompt and professional in their dealings with him.
 
3.  When we had to call for construction advice it was a relief that CLH was not condescending but always available to resolve our questions.   In fact, we decided that CLH could truthfully rename itself the "House-Building-for-Dummies" company - because we managed it!
 
4.  2 years to build a house ourselves - quite stressful.  However, CLH was never a source of that stress because their product is so superior.  All materials were high quality, as advertised, and precision cut.  It went together exactly as it was supposed to and the result was a superior house - we still can't believe that it was built by us!
 
5.  Whilst we were building everyone watched.  People expressed concern about the insulation value of a house with only 6" of wood between us and -40 degree weather.  We even got nervous ourselves - until we fired up the woodstove and it kept the whole house toasty - people can't say enough good about it.  We live in northern BC, the Canadian Cariboo, and for the first time I don't hate the snow because it's easy to stay warm in this house.
 
6.  CLH gave me $250 just for telling another Canadian buyer the truth - that their houses are cost-effective, excellently designed and easy to build.  I gave out all the brochures CLH sent me and subsequently my local pub's owner came by to see our house and says he's ordering one for himself.
 
In conclusion, there is nothing to compare with the feeling you get from showing off a home that you built yourself.  Buyers can be confident that CLH will be a large part of making their dreams a reality.    Our neighbors are building an impressive cedar post and beam mansion - but it's around OUR home's fireplace that everybody cozies up, and it's everything I'd dreamed.  Several of my friends built houses - then divorced.  My significant other and I built the house (with my sons) - then got married.  Now if that's not a testimonial for a great building experience then I don't know what is!  (And he even carried me across the threshhold).

Looking for the perfect log home was a journey that took us to Coventry approximately three years ago. Our first encounter came when a phone call was placed to Coventry after looking at several other companies. Speaking to one of your representatives sparked our interest in your company and we decided to meet the representative in person at a log home show in Hartford CT. At the home show we met Russell Haney. From the first meeting we felt comfortable with not only the companies philosophy but also with the price, which is also something very important during these economic times. It was what we where able to afford for all that we where going to receive. We then decided to take a five hour drive to meet with Russell and view a Coventry Log Home. We where impressed with the friendly attitude of the staff, and we often speak of visiting Woodsville again. It was one of the most beautiful weekends we have experienced. Once our visit was over we knew we had found the company we would be working with. Things don’t always go as planned and issues in our life came up and delayed our plans to build our dream home. One thing remained the same we knew that when the time came we would still contact Coventry. Everything finally came together for us and we made the call to Coventry. The phone call to Coventry informed us the Russell was not with the company anymore and we would now be talking to Jeremy Elliott. Jeremy assured us that our dealings with Coventry would still be just comfortable an experience with him, and he was right. Jeremy is a true professional, and a dedicated Coventry representative. Our questions and concerns where always handled in a quick and efficient way. We knew that if Jeremy could not answer the question he would always find the answer for us. Keeping us informed and helping us feel at ease were just a few of the ways Jeremy went above and beyond. The day of delivery we finally knew that the decision we made three years ago was the right decision. There where no surprises, we were impresses with the delivery crew and happy that all materials came in undamaged and where more than we expected. Our home is about to be completed and we could not be happier, it is a dream come true for all, and would not have been possible without your companies help. Our guest to have a vacation home for our family is something we thought we could not afford, but because your company works hard to make this possible for families like our we are eternally grateful, Thank you to all who were involved in making our dream come true.
