Vacation Rental in the White Mountains

Patricia, who was born in New Hampshire, found the lure of the serene and majestic mountains, views and lifestyle irresistible. It was as natural as breathing to return with her family year after year for treasured and memorable vacations in the White Mountains. There is something exciting for all age groups in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Summer attractions for the kids include theme parks like Six Gun City and Fort Splash, Santa’s Village and Story Land to name a few. Family fun and entertainment can be found at the Hobo Railroad, and Clark’s Trading Post. The thrill seeking set enjoy Whales Tale Water Park and Attitash which features waterslides and Alpine slides while Wildcat Mountain Gondola has a zip ride attraction. The Polar Caves, Lost River Gorge, The Flume Gorge, Cannon Aerial Tramway, Cog Railway and Mount Washington Auto Road hold breathtaking sights of natural wonders. There are numerous trails throughout the Franconia Notch State Park for hiking. Winter attractions include a particularly wonderful trail for snowshoeing along the Lonesome Lake shores of the State Park. The McGill/Martin family cherish the outdoor living spaces where they indulge in a peaceful cup of coffee in the early hours of the day on their covered porch and tasty meals and conversation served up on their wrap around deck. Part of the basement serves as a garage while the other portion features a game room. Their favorite family activity is held in the dining room where they play various board games hours on end. They adore the interior and exterior views from the loft which accommodates two full futons. The space provides a peaceful nook for reading or watching television. The three bedrooms comfortably hold king, queen and full size beds respectively suited to their room size. With two and a half baths, the retreat has the potential to sleep up to 5 couples quite comfortably.

Andrea says each time she motors onto the driveway and sees with her own eyes how fantastic their getaway home looks she exclaims “Dreams really do come true!” Since work and community obligations prevent the McGill/Martin family from coming north as often as they like they are willing to open their getaway home to other vacationers.
