We want to personally thank Coventry Log Homes and especially Richard Titorenko for the outstanding customer service that was provided to us on the purchase of our log home. We began our search for our log home several years ago. My wife and I looked at many log home/cabin manufacturers, each manufacturer adding their own personal touches, before settling on Coventry Log Homes. Several requirements that we had were that the company we selected be well established, have an excellent reputation, great customer service, a log home that contains high-quality materials and workmanship. Lastly, we also required an on-site visit to see the various models on display as well as the manufacturing facility.
During this time we contacted Coventry Log Homes and began our experience with Richard Titorenko. Richard is well versed in the log home business from planning, scheduling and all other facets that relate to log home ownership from planning to final construction and beyond. Last May my wife and I took a trip from Pennsylvania to New Hampshire to visit Coventry Log Homes, meet with Richard Titorenko and view their operations. We were very impressed with the various sample homes that are on-site as well as one of the log homes that is fully assembled, complete and functional nearby. Based upon this experience, the company, manufacturing, quality of material, professionalism put forth we chose to have Coventry Log Homes build our log home. We chose the no-change Clearwater package since it fit well with our plans based on size, features, options and price. In the nearly one year timeframe from our initial visit with Richard Titorenko until the delivery of our home in April of this year, I have called Richard nearly twice a week or so asking countless questions. I asked nearly every conceivable question regarding every detail of our home, what if we did this, what if we did that, etc. and Richard was fully supportive and responsive to our needs. (I personally think that we were the poster-child for the amount of questions asked.) During the year-long timeframe from initial down payment until delivery we made many changes: upgrading the log walls from 6”x8” to 8”x8”, additional height (extra logs on each floor), forgo asphalt shingles in lieu of a metal roof, etc., Richard was supportive and pointed out the pros and cons of the changes we requested. We received our log home at the end of April of this year. The process of delivery was smooth and easy. Coventry Log Homes delivered all the material as required on-time and as promised. Construction began in the week thereafter. Overall construction, from start to finish, took about 10 weeks as my contractor predicted. Our contractor, Dan Hartman, Hartman Custom Builders in Benton, PA, did an outstanding job on our home. If you have any other customers in the greater Bloomsburg/Benton/Wilkes-Barre PA area I highly recommend Dan Hartman. If I had to do it again, I would choose Dan again since he has done an outstanding job constructing our log home. Several other options that we incorporated into our log home are: ground source heat pump system (GSHP) to save energy and reduce costs in the long term, spray foam insulation to minimize heat loss and maximize energy efficiency, Superior Walls engineered and insulated foundation wall system and a steel, metal roof for long-term roof life. We are in the final stages of construction: we chose to have the major portion of our log home completed by our contractor. My wife and I will spend our time on weekends doing the final work such as staining the exterior, installing the interior wall boards and kitchen to save money, but also to put our personal touches on our home. We personally thank Coventry Log Homes and Richard Titorenko for a job well done. Sincerely, Stephen & Carol Start to Finish Pictures - Click Pictures to See More |
